As one of the founding members of ASEAN CIO Association, Mr. Chaicharearn Atibaedya has been elected unanimously as President to lead the organization.
He started as a young engineer in PTT Group in Thailand and has rose to lead in PTTICT as CEO before his final few years as at R & D and Sustainability Senior EVP before he retired from Thailand largest corporation and the only company from Thailand listed in Fortune Global 500 companies. A highly qualified individual who have proven track record in mega projects while in tenure as key lead in THAILAND ICT industry. His 40 plus years of experience in operations, engineering, project management, strategic planning, research and development, sustainability management has earned great respect. During his tenure in PTTGroup, he has led several big initiatives with state-owned enterprises groups for ICT development. He held a chairman function in local CIO16 Association till 2013.
In 2018, he took the helm of Thailand Digital Government Agency as the Chairman leading the full digital transformation with his members and running parallel to advise the Office of Civil Service Commission on government officers.
